‘Smart design’
One Smart’s Place is a building refurbishment for Morgan Capital Partners and AXA and includes a complete re-cladding of the building, new core and the addition of 2 new floors.
Our initial remit was to develop the architectural details in coordination with the sub-contractors to finalise key elements and finishing details not covered by the employers requirements.
Our appointment was extended by the Morgan Capital Partners to include the design for the common parts such as the staircases, WC's, corridors and reception. As part of our scope we liaised with the planners and planning consultant to conclude all conditions as well as developing design changes to the 1st and 7th floor cladding to increase the NLA.
